In 2020, I launched the "Women in International Economics (WIE)" Conference, together with Nitya Pandalai-Nayar, Meredith Startz, and Woan Foong Wong. The conference aims to foster diversity within the field of international economics by providing a platform for junior women to showcase their research, receive constructive feedback, and gain mentorship. I remained an active member of the organizing committee from 2020 to 2023. The inaugural committee members, including myself, along with current organizers, aspire to sustain and grow this impactful conference for years to come.

We are also tremendously grateful for the support from senior mentors for this conference. Şebnem Kalemli-Özcan (2020), Nina Pavcnik (2021), Doireann Fitzgerald (2022), and Stefania Garetto (2023) joined the organizing committee in their respective years. Since 2024, Stefania Garetto and Ana Maria Santacreu have been serving as senior mentors in residence on the organizing committee. In addition, a number of senior mentors have participated in the conference to support junior women in international economics, and we are truly grateful for their support.
